When you’re incapable of making coherent arguments, you rely on childish name calling. Most of us outgrow this between the 2nd grade and high school. I guess that the ones who don’t go to J-School.

8/21 – Estb. Media Downplay Illegal-Alien Status of Mollie Tibbetts’ Alleged Killer

This isn’t part of the link, but this is best summed up by Facebook commenter BAJ:

“Mollie Tibbetts was an Iowan. She was raised not far from me. She went to the University of Iowa, just like me. Rooted for the Hawkeyes. She had hopes, dreams, a good upbringing & a loving family cheering for her future.
Then, in the most gruesome way possible, it all ended.

Mollie went for a run on one of those sleepy Iowa farm roads. She was abducted, murdered & had he body dumped in a ditch by a third-world monster who entered this country illegally. This human garbage had spent six years (!) in our country illegally being shielded, protected & humanized and every turn by the policies of national Democrats. He does not share our culture, worldview or value system & eventually was allowed to murder an American in the prime of her life & leave her body in the dirt for 34 days.

How is this possible? How is it that the sub-human horror of the third-world can find its way to the peaceful farm communities of my upbringing?

It bears repeating: The policies of Democrats & open-borders advocates have the blood of Mollie Tibbetts on their hands. The disgraceful policies of sanctuary cities, catch-and-release & open borders have led to American bloodshed.

The murder marks the permanent separation of Mollie Tibbetts from her family. Where is her TIME magazine cover? Where is the protest for Mollie Tibbetts? Where is the outraged press corps screaming for Trump to do something?
Silence.

But we don’t have to be silent in the face of American carnage. “

8/21 – A BAD DAY IN COURT

Powerline’s John Hinderaker gives a good summary:

None of this would be happening, of course, but for Bob Mueller’s effort to drive President Trump from office on behalf of his de facto client, the Democratic Party. In a nauseating bit of hypocrisy, Deputy U.S. attorney Robert Khuzami said today that “The essence of what this case is about is justice, and that is an equal playing field for all persons in the eyes of the law….” Equal justice has nothing to do with this prosecution. Michael Cohen was targeted solely because he was Trump’s personal lawyer, and enforcement of campaign finance law is anything but equal. Just ask Dinesh D’Souza.

As we and others have said many times, what is going on in the courts is mostly theater–unless, of course, you are Paul Manafort or Michael Cohen. President Trump can’t be indicted, so legal niceties are not very material. The Mueller Switch Project has three objectives: 1) furnish House Democrats (assuming they take the majority in November) with ammunition to impeach the President; 2) help the Democrats to win the midterm elections; and 3) make President Trump’s re-election less likely in 2020.

Why do I feel like every day our country is taking one more step toward becoming a Kurt Schlichter novel?
